Welcome to my Lamborghini site.

For anyone who has even the slightest interest in fast motor cars, the name Lamborghini will conjure up images of outrageous shapes and performance to die for.

Seduced by the promise of what these cars are all about, for as long as I can remember I have lusted after owning one; in particular a Countach.  For me, this model encapsulates exactly what it was that Ferruccio Lamborghini set out to achieve when he founded his car manufacturing company in 1963.

With head turning looks that make just as bold a statement today as they did when the prototype was unveiled in Geneva in 1971, it is certainly not a car for anyone with a shy and retiring personality.  Whilst perhaps no longer at the cutting edge of performance that it once was, this is still no sheep in wolf's clothing and is still capable of monumentally silly speeds, with acceleration to match.

This site is intended to convey what it is actually like to own and run one of the most iconic cars of modern times.  Some areas will be anecdotal, such as detailing the steps I took to track down and buy my own Countach.  There will of course be photographs, and not just of my car.  One of the joys of owning a Lamborghini is to belong to a club where you can meet people with the same passion as yourself.  This means that when attending events that the club is involved in or has organised, there are going to be other cars to be photographed and drooled over.  One such event was the 40th Anniversary celebration in Italy, where Lamborghinis from all over the world converged on the factory.  My photographs from that event are here for you to enjoy.

In more recent times, the Countach finally gave way to a Diablo GT.  It was a difficult decision to make but the GT to me is the embodiment of what the Countach stood for when it was introduced, and as far as I am concerned is the spiritual successor to the Countach.

I have tried to make this site as simple to use as possible.  If you have any comments to make about the site, any questions about my car or if you just feel like dropping me a line, please do.
